Joint International Conference 2018


Department of Commerce jointly hosts international conference at Malaysia
Department of Commerce at St Joseph’s College, India, Sunway College, Malaysia and Victoria University Melbourne jointly organized its first international conference on “Business Dynamics & Creating innovative and sustainable businesses for strategic social economic growth” at Sunway College, Malaysia during 26th and 27th November 2018.

This conference officiated by Dr. Mohd Nor Azman Hassan, Deputy Director General at Dept. of Higher Education Malaysia in the presence of His Excellency Andrew Goledzinowski, Australian High Commission, Malaysia, Puan Sri Datin Seri Dr Susan S. C. Cheah EXCO member, The Sunway Group, Dr. Elizebeth Lee, Senior Executive Director, Sunway Education Group, Dr Christo Selvan, Prefect of Commerce at St Joseph’s College, India, Ms. Greeja De Silva, Director of SCVU programmes and Dr. Benedict Valentine, Chairman ICBD 2018. 77 undergraduate and post graduate students and 7 faculties from Department of Commerce and Department of Psychology attended the conference from St. Joseph’s’ College, Bangalore, India.

The conference was a significant event, bringing together 204 scholars from countries like India, Spain, Malaysia, New Zealand, Australia, Italy and many more. Scholars, researchers, economists, social anthropologists, sociologists, psychologists were meeting together to present their research on Business Dynamics – Creating innovative and sustainable business for strategic social economic growth.
